LAUGHTER ...

"Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!" - (Psalm 95: 2) It is wonderful how the memory of a funny story or a particular incident can bring joy to my heart and laughter to my lips years later. Laughter has the power to turn a seemingly sad day into a happy one. It is good for me and also for those with whom I share my laughter. When I laugh, I feel the positive effects throughout my body. As I relax, any tension I may have felt dissipates. I am positive and upbeat. Sharing as much joy as I can each day through laughter and smiles allows me to be an ambassador of goodwill. What a privilege it is to share the gladness of my soul with others! Through laughter, I share the gladness of my soul.

FREE ...

"As servants of God, live as free people." - (1 Peter 2: 16) I may believe in the freedom of others but sometimes have a challenge believing in my own freedom. I gain the freedom to do what I desire to do when I stop letting my own negative thoughts control me. If I feel that I have lost the willpower to overcome some dependency, I reclaim it now. I do not wait for someone to rescue me or do what is mine to do. I claim my freedom from negative habits and tendencies as I let the power of God's spirit within set me free and keep me free. When I truly realize that I can never be alone in anything I do, I have the courage to claim my freedom. I am free to say 'no' to someone or about something when my decision is the result of divine guidance. Yes, I am free, for the power of God within has set me free! I believe in the power of God to set me free!

NEGATIVE THOUGHTS VS. POSITIVE THOUGHTS ...

The enemy will cause you to doubt God and His Word but I now declare in the name of the Lord Jesus, I will NOT doubt The Word of God. The enemy will cause you to turn away from God but I now declare in the name of the Lord Jesus, He will NOT cause me to turn away from God, even in the slightest. The enemy will tempt you to murmur against God but I now declare in the name of the Lord Jesus, He will NOT tempt me to murmur against God and therefore I will stand on the Lord's Word. The enemy will cause you to reject God's voice and His word but I now declare in the name of the Lord Jesus, He will NOT cause me to reject God's loving voice or His Word by ALL means. The enemy will steal the fear of God out of your heart but I now declare in the name of the Lord Jesus, He will NOT steal the fear of God out of my heart. The enemy will cause you to fear man more than you fear God but I now declare in the name of Jesus, He will NOT cause me to fear man more than how I fear God. Th

Our Great God ...

We are filled with gratitude For the many blessings we share: Being together. Abundance. Well-being. Gracious God. We seek in our living A greater awareness of your presence: To speak kind words, to listen more To respect differences, to show patience. Inspire us to make wise choices. To keep promises, to be honest Make us mindful of how we use time. Move us to forgiveness - gently ask that we Let go of hurts and overlook shortcomings: Give us hope during times of difficulty and change. Help us to see and nurture the goodness Within each soul you've entrusted. May your enduring love strengthen our bonds As we become blessings for one another The earth and all who need our care. Amen & Amen.

I accept you in my spirit right now For a magnificent change in my life. Thank you Lord Jesus, For making a change in my life, In my finances, in my health & within my spirit. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, AMEN & AMEN.

God's Gift 2 Mankind ...

The Bible is, first and foremost, a love letter. The words in that letter are like seeds that fall into the soil of our heart. With enough skill we can precisely measure the seeds, weigh them, and study them. No amount of skill, though, can bring the seeds to life. Only the Holy Spirit can do that. This is true of any word from God that lands in our heart - whether it's a word voiced through the Scriptures or through nature or through the circumstances of our lives. Each and every word that comes to us will lie dormant in the soil unless the Spirit gives it life. "And there it will wait.. quiet and still.. for the rain."

Jesus & I ...

Jesus strolled from room to room. We strolled into the library of my mind, the dining room of my appetites and desires, and the workshop of talents and skills. The room that impacted him the greatest was the drawing room. We walked next into the drawing room. This room was rather intimate and comfortable. I liked it. It had a fireplace, overstuffed chairs, a bookcase, sofa, and a quiet atmosphere. He also seemed pleased with it. He said, "This is indeed a delightful room. Let us come here often. It is secluded and quiet and we can have fellowship together." Well, naturally, as a young believer, I was thrilled. I could not think of anything I would rather do than have a few minutes apart with Christ in intimate comradeship. He promised, "I will be here every morning early. Meet with Me here and we will start the day together." So morning after morning, I would come downstairs to the drawing room and He would take a book of the Bible... open it and then we would read

The Purpose of Prayer.

In order to hear God speak through prayer, we must allow ourselves to think beyond our limited knowledge, to see beyond our limited vision, and to believe beyond our limited understanding. Prayer turns our focus toward God and allows Him to rearrange our priorities. It is more than unloading our burdens and enumerating our desires. Prayer sets our agendas. Did you ever notice that Jesus didn't set His agenda and then ask God to bless it? No, He did only what the Father told Him to do. Prayer is not meant to change God's mind, but to change us and align our thinking with God's. When we begin our prayer with praise, we take the focus off ourselves and fix it on God. When we pray for God's will to be done, we take the focus off our desires and fix it to God's desires for our lives.
